Scandinavian fine arts
are more and more acknowledged in Europe. In recognition of this fact
we shall
show in spring 2006 a small selection of Swedish contemporary art due
to the
record of exhibitions, which had been shown so far at l’USINE GALERIE.
An
exhibition of three Swedish artists will be realized in two different
spaces at
l’USINE GALERIE. With
this concept we are interested in the representation of contemporary
photography and multi-media of Sweden, represented by Carina Fihn and
Joakim Eneroth
and modern Swedish installations, presented by Anders Rönnlund. We
want to
create an interrelationship between these approaches. We are very
curious to
find the tensions and correlations between the different manners of
creating
pieces of art like photography, installations and multi-media and to
compare
these. Thus, images and their artistic characteristics, which were
created by
different means, but which evoke in a variety of open minded spectators
different impressions. The tour begins with photography and video-loops
of
Carina Fihn in the gallery near the entrance of the building. It will
be
continued in the exhibition hall on the same floor with the photo-art
of Joakim
Eneroth, entitled “Without end” and finally find its third presentation
with
the video-installation “Encircle” created by Anders Rönnlund.
L’art contemporain
scandinave étant de plus en plus apprécié en
Europe, nous avons choisi de
présenter durant ce printemps 2006 une petite sélection
d’œuvres contemporaines
suédoises. Une exposition à mettre en parallèle
avec celle consacrée en
Finlande en 2004 et également dans la continuité des
expositions précédentes.
Le concept de l’exposition
consiste à mettre en
rapport des approches artistiques variées qu’il s’agisse des photographies et des œuvres multi
médiatiques de Carina Fihn et de Joakim Eneroth ou des
installations d’Anders
Rönnlund afin d’observer les tensions ou les corrélations
existantes entre ces
différentes manières de créer des œuvres
artistiques.
Ces images et leurs caractéristiques artistiques
créées par des moyens divers, évoquent chez chaque
spectateur ouvert des
impressions personnelles.
